Emerald Green
Like her previous novels Flying Colours, Red for Danger and Starshine Blue, Emerald Green is a romance with a background of the Melbourne horse racing industry, although this time the story begins in Ireland, giving it an International flavour. Readers of Red for Danger may remember the character Laura as Daniels young cousin. However, as all the books in this series stand alone as individual stories, it is not necessary to have read the other books before enjoying the story of Emerald Green.

“Left almost alone in the world when her mother marries a rich American, Laura Flanagan leaves Ireland to go to Australia, hoping to build a new life.
During the long-haul flight, she meets Declan Martin, a young horseman bringing the Irish champion, Lancelot’s Pride, to have a crack at the Melbourne Cup. But when Laura tells him she must find an Australian husband in order to live there, Declan doesn’t handle it well. In Singapore they part bad friends but when he walks into the Irish pub where she’s working in Melbourne, the attraction is still there.
Can Laura recognize true love before it’s too late? Will Lancelot’s Pride win the Melbourne Cup?”
